Keyboard Shortcuts

All keyboard bindings available in Framis, including the global hotkey and Arrange Mode controls.

Framis is keyboard-first. Once you know a handful of keys you can arrange a workspace without leaving the home row.

Global hotkey

The global hotkey is configurable in Framis settings. Pick a chord that does not collide with your other macOS shortcuts.

Inside Arrange Mode

Selecting a zone

Choosing a window

Tips

  • Two or three high-frequency commands usually matter more than a huge shortcut map. Start by binding the global hotkey and learn 1 / 2 / / / Enter / Esc.
  • The same zone numbers and key order repeat across layouts, so the muscle memory carries over.
